Алекс Кац. Гениальный герой поп-арт движения. Его картины напоминают сюрреалистично-гротескные образы Бретта Истона Эллиса в литературе. В них нет диспропорции, они совершенно реалистичны, но при этом в них чувствуется некое тройное дно. «Мы скользим по поверхности вещей» U2. Эти картины реалистичны, но краски накалены до предела, линии «агрессивны и содержательны» как пишет сам Кац и именно это и придает им тот самый гротескный шик напоминающий «Гламораму» Эллиса. Вдохновители Каца: Ман Рэй, скульптуры Пабло Пикассо, супрематические картины Малевича, коллажи Анри Матисса, Джексон Поллок, Рой Лихтенштейн, модные фотографии Ричарда Аведона, «Приключение» Антониони и Гийом Аполлинер. А я готова включить «Crimewave» Crystal Castles и смотреть на его картины не отрывая взгляда, в ожидании, что они придут в движение и весь этот сюр выплеснется наружу.

 Во второй раз за сегодня я пересматриваю "Groupies don't stay for breakfast'. 

I adore this young Berlin. I'm in love with it's new films. And i can't stop this music in my head. I want to repeat it again & again.
That movie was all i needed now. It's love at first sight.

Feels like a new beginning and there's so much to explore. It's not so crazy thinking we could really have it all

For those who young in heart - my favorite song of the week. I had a marvelous weekend in the city. Hope you too. Now my friend is back in town and I'm going to have really sweet evening with blanc de blanc champagne , macarons and one of the most stylish pictures ever - 'The kiss'.
